Paul Wedlock, one of the financial controllers at Sky Livingston, along with Rebecca Mathew gave a fantastic talk to the NC Accounting students this afternoon.
Paul explained the structure of the finance departments within sky along with the opportunities available to students which included their graduate programme. He gave a good indication to the accounting students of what would be expected in the different roles and what 'risk and rewards' actually meant. He also explained the purchase orders/invoicing systems in relation to Sky which the students had been learning in their studies.
Rebecca is currently studying CIMA whilst employed with sky on the graduate programme, she loves working for Sky as they give great work experience along with time of to study prior to her examinations.
Paul & Rebecca's talk related to the NC Accounting studies and gave the students a window for opportunity.
