Business level 6 students are doing a fantastic job planning for their Challenge poverty event.
The students want to raise awareness around the fact that many families in West Lothian are using food banks more and more and sometimes go without food for long periods of time. The students identified the need for students to be able to cook for themselves at home for £1 and to feed the entire family! The students will be selling 'Tasty £ bag's on the 18th May to students on the campus.
To raise awareness the students have just filmed making two recipes from scratch with Paul Devonshire in hospitality. Paul, Jenna Morgan and Simone Neilson discussed on camera the benefits off cooking for yourself at home from a cost and nutritional point of view. The video will be aired throughout the campus on all TV's on Wednesday 18th May.
Please spread the word with all your classes between now and then!
